Do I returned it and am now using a Samsung X5 with has a read-write speed of between 1800-2400Mb/s. This seemed to work but raid issues made the drive unreliable for what I needed to do. I contacted Wirecast support and was told, “sounds like a write speed issue”. So I purchased an OWC Thunderblade. In previous versions (Wirecast 12) I was able to record x 3 without any issue however, future updates seem to have put a stop to this (not sure why). This will greatly streamline my workflow.
#WIRECAST PRO 6 RECORDING 1080P#
My aim for the longest time has been to Record 4 x 1080p ISO's using medium ProRes settings whilst recording audio with Logic Pro X.
#WIRECAST PRO 6 RECORDING ISO#
Mainly dropping frames when trying to record x 4 1080p ISO at once.ģ x zCam E1 cameras, 1 x BMPCC4k - from HDMI into Blackmagic Micro converters (HDMI to SDI) SDI out to Blackmagic quad card (Thunderbolt 2 out into thunderbolt 3 via adapter). Wirecast managed to fix the error on 13.0 with the audio issue but I am still having problems with the ISO recording.
#WIRECAST PRO 6 RECORDING UPDATE#
Just an update on my current ISO recording issues. I've just purchased an OWC 2TB Thunderblade which claims write speeds of up to 2800MB/s which will hopefully fix the ISO recording problem. I think you are correct on this - I think the CPU is fine for now but the SSD speed is the biggest issue. With so many simultaneous ISO recordings you may need Thunderbolt attached SSD or RAID striped drives. Keep in mind CPU% and drive throughput are factors. Tech support has replied and assures me that the 50102 error that I have been getting will be fixed in the next update of Wirecast. This is the ONLY reason I have had to use v12.
#WIRECAST PRO 6 RECORDING FULL#
I was unable to get the full mix into Wirecast without using the "Loopback" app as is turning the logic output into a sound source that Wirecast can see and use. Unfortunately, I am streaming and recording drum lessons so logic Pro X is a massive part of getting the sound. The issue only occurs when iso recording in WCPro v13 and not in v12 using the loopback input source which would indicate that issue in lies with v13. It may be Loopback as well so you may want to try using a desktop source from a browser or QuickTime player that might otherwise come from System Sound by comparison I suspect the issue involves the ProSonus but we need to confirm it. Try doing a simple single ISO record with one video source and the ProSonus. I really like the software, however, at present I am paying for “Upgrades” that I can not use. Any idea what could be causing this issue and why it has only started having problems over the past year (yes also before Catalina update)? I am currently still using the latest v12 of WirecastPro but lately, when I try to ISO record 3 x 1080p camera streams (I could formally record x 4 cameras simultaneously without issue) After a few mins I get file drop errors and basically can not use any of the footage. What could be causing this error as there is no information available regarding 50102 errors on your site? I was told that this was a “Catalina issue” by Wirecast support but upon further investigation, all works fine in version 12 so this is a v13 issue.

This doesn’t seem to be an issue when recording my live stream feed, only ISO recording. This occurs whenever I try to add the audio from Logic Pro X.

I have been unable to use WCPro13 since release as whenever I try to use the ISO recording function I get an Error 50102.

Into WirecastPro.Īudio - via Presonus interface - Logic Pro X - Wirecast via loopback app. I have been experiencing issues with both Wirecast Pro 12 and 13 for the Past year and desperately need assistance.ģ x zCam E1 cameras, 1 x BMPCC4k - from HDMI into Blackmagic Micro converters (HDMI to SDI) SDI out to Blackmagic quad card (Thunderbolt 2 out into thunderbolt 3 via adapter).
